Fully restored pair of original German Solex 44 PHH carburetors for the Mercedes 190SL 1954 to 1963
Fully cleaned, steel parts re-plated, new throttle shaft bushings and extra seals installed
New diaphragms, float valves and gaskets.
All mating surfaces re-surfaced.
The venturi have been bored out slightly to remove any wear and new slightly larger throttle butterflies made with the correct angles to fit the new bore size. Minimal machining was needed to remove a slight groove caused by the old butterflies. Its very common on these carburetors, boring out and installing new butterflies to fit the new bores is the best way to make these like new again.
